The IFAPAC booths have been buzzing with activity every day. The volunteers are full of energy and are the epitome of “FUN”raisers. Conference attendees have not only lined up to claim a fancy nametag ribbon, they are being “drawn in” for an opportunity to win fabulous prizes.
So far, drawing winners have won an Amazon Kindle and a Sony eReader Touch. Today, the drawing winner will win an Apple iPad. Yes – an Apple iPad!!!
The location is the Convention Center’s South Lobby (4th Floor), and all you need is a business card. If you haven’t already done so, RUN your business card to the South Lobby.

Sorry we didn't respond to your comment sooner, John. I took a few days of R&R following the conference. It's true our volunteers are often an exuberant bunch. I'm sure they didn't mean to upset anyone. I'll pass your comment along to our IFAPAC staff for consideration next year.

They aren't drawing them in they are attacking them outside the Exhibit Hall. I had several attendees tell me they wouldn't go back to the Exhibit Hall because you had to pass teh IPAC booth and they attacked you and if you didn't listen they made you feel terrilble by saying things like, "No team spirit there!" or "I guess you just don't care!" They probably turned off more people this year with that tactic than they converted. I observed people going outside and walking around the patio to avoid the contact. Not a good way to win friends and influence people.
