2011 John Newton Russell Memorial Award Presented

The presentation of the prestigious John Newton Russell Memorial Award took place on Tuesday, Sept. 13 during the John Newton Russell Memorial Award Brunch.

The insurance industry’s highest honor was bestowed upon Marvin Feldman, CLU, ChFC, RFC, who is president of the Feldman Financial Group, as well as president and CEO of the LIFE Foundation.

Feldman, the 70^th recipient of this award, is a 37-year member of the Million Dollar Round Table and was the president in 2002. He has been a member of the Top of the Table for 29 years, serving on their board and as the Top of the Table Chairman.

Feldman was named to Insurance Newscast’s 2009 and 2010 list of the 100 most powerful people in the insurance industry in North America.

He was described during the presentation as “the image of what a John Newton Russell Memorial Award winner should be.”
