The counter on NAIFA’s Affordable Care Act resource site broke 50 over the weekend, meaning that the ACA’s Exchanges will open for enrollment in just seven weeks.
As NAIFA President-Elect John Nichols explained in a letter to NAIFA members last week, the resource site provides information for advisors and their clients on the exchanges and other important provisions of the ACA. The site also includes material on health insurance taxes, the individual mandate, the medical loss ratio rule, Medicare Advantage and the age band rating.
Healthcare advisors should check the NAIFA rescource site often for updates as well as for materials they can share with clients.
