NAIFA has joined a coalition of more than 250 businesses and organizations opposed to CMS proposed regulations that would radically change the Medicare Part D program.
The group has submitted a letter to CMS opposing the proposed changes to Medicare Part D. The letter notes that Medicare Part D is a successful public-private health care partnership that has helped tens of millions of Americans obtain affordable prescription drugs. It has proven cost-effective for consumers as well as the government, according to the Congressional Budget Office.
The coalition urges members to directly engage members of Congress on this issue and has provided a "Social Media Cheat Sheet" to facilitate engagement.
